Front tire locks up while driving

While driving my 2010 Subaru Legacy 3.6r the front tires lock up. This causes my car to come to an abrupt stop. I changed the hub assemblies, abs sensors and the calipers. However this is still stopping abruptly and now throwing a fault for torque converter issues. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
