Hi everyone!
2009 Subaru Impreza hatch 2.5i

- The cat pipe is in decent shape other than the flange connection to the cat back.

I'm having trouble finding a ( " converter pipe flange repair kit")

Here is an example of one that is slightly too small I think ( wrong application ) :

I measured the outer diameter of this pipe at 2 and 3/8ths ( I think the pipe is a 1/16th wall thickness)

So this is a repair flange that is 2 and 3/8 inch inner diameter (2 1/4 OD)

Does anyone know where to buy one?

I ended up getting a split flange , but this does not account for the little pipe section that will support the bushing so I am going to have to find a pipe that just supports the inside of that bushing too.

Have you tried a local exhaust shot? They can likely make/have one for you easily.

I had a Borla cat back system once. I turned out to be junk so I replaced it in total. I would up with a better sounding exhaust too.

How was it junk? They make superb products.
It burned up (holes) in just a few miles, maybe 20-25K or so. Very light gauge metal. That was some years ago so maybe they're better now. Mine was definitely far less than superb. It could have been made for TRD, I've forgotten. TRD was pushing a lot of less than great products on to the market.

Interesting. I had one on my Ducati and it was magnificent...if loud, and it is on the short list for a catback on the JDM Legacy.
