My daughter has a 95 Impreza LX Wagon with 2.2L engine. Exhaust is completely stock. The front cat is bad, so I am ordering her a walker ultra direct fit cat from Rock Auto. I suspect the 2nd cat is on its way out too. Even if it's not, it's a 25 year old car. My question is........if I want to remove rear cat, can I insert a vibrant performance ultra quiet resonator in its place to keep it as quiet to stock as possible? Has anyone ever put a resonator in place of a 2nd cat? Keep in mind that the 2nd cat on this car doesn't have any 02 sensors. They are both on front cat. Let me know your thoughts.
