EJ205 Impact on Tranny

Got an oppertunity to buy a 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX that had a EJ205 dropped in.

I know from other engine swaps on my older Chevy's you have to have a tranny that can take the power of the engine, if not you turn the tranny into a blender.

So, how does the 2004 Impreza WRX tranny take the power of the EJ205?

If I'm not mistaken the 205 motor is a 2.0 motor? The WRX should have came with the 2.5L if I'm not mistaken. Either way it should be fine

From what i understand it is a 2.0

2.0 and 2.5 are like Chevy's 305 and 350. Basically the same. Small differences
