Code P2685- anyone else have this issue?

Hello. All the lights on my dash went on and I dropped by the local mechanic-- they came up with Code P2685 - was told to go to dealer as there is only 58K but can't tell me if it is unsafe to drive-

Is it driving and shifting properly or is it in 'limp mode'. If it's stuck in low gear and won't drive normally then it's in limp mode to protect components. Is it still under warranty? If so then yes get it to the dealer one way or the other.
