Best way to sell/trade used Subaru with interior water damage (NY/NJ area)

My 2011 Subaru Outback has about 118,000 miles. The car is in reasonably good condition, but the interior has a considerable amount of mold/water damage due to a leak in the roof and lack of maintenance. Does anyone have any advice on what the best course of action would be in selling or trading in the car in the NY/NJ area? Private buyer? Trade in at a dealership?
