2024 Subaru Outback Limited front license bracket

One thing that bothers me is the location of the front license plate bracket. It sits high and covers the front grill. Looks like previous models positioned the bracket lower which makes for a better looking grill. Does anyone know a quick and easy way to remove the dealer installed bracket and use another Outback year bracket or an aftermarket product? Looks like the Wilderness model uses a lower bracket that does not cover the grill. Not sure if it would fit my car. No help from the dealer. Thank you

My salesman installed an OEM bracket that positions the plate at about bumper height.

Thank you for your reply. For what year and model vehicle was the OEM bracket from? That's what I have now which positions the plate too high. Thanks

Mine is a '25 Outback Wilderness, and the bracket is whatever the parts room had on hand.
The plate is centered above and below the bumper face.

You must be living right. I was cleaning out the trash can in the outer garage, and happened to see the packaging from that license plate mount.
The parts number is S0A342L171, FRONT LICENSE PLATE BRACKET. It's a Subaru part.
