Has anybody had an overheat issue with the rear differential on a Premium (or any other model) Ascent? I had a 2019 Ascent Premium and towed a Travel Trailer (within weight limit) and had no issues.

I never ear a rear or front differential over heating how do you know you have an overheat in the front panel tell you that? so far i never track anything like trailer but this is weird i know you have to change the both rear and front differential the fluid it degrade after time like the motor Oil i change myself every 6 month or they said 6000 miles I guess i'm not sure i'm not a mechanic but you have to have a comment sense to change the fluid before you go on your trip if the fluid was old enough to cause your issue it will . The only thing I guess it's the fuild was too old when you went to your trip or is a leak in the rear differential no offence just a guess if the fluid was in good shape when you left there is an issue with the rear diffential. just let you know I eard on youtube expert on Subaru tech people that ignoring the fluid in both Front and rear maintenace will add a cost of $8000 to rebluid the differentials so it's better to change offen the fluid in both Front and rear. I have a 2020 Outback Premium I will change myself front and rear good luck luck.
