hello all...
I have a brand new (today) Impreza w/EYESIGHT and I'm not sure, but there may be a problem. We also have a new Outback for comparison.
Anyway... three times today, the system shut off (it did come back after a few seconds). All three were on rather steep downhills , country roads , where the uphill was immediate after a steep down, then up. Once in daylight, twice at night. Never a problem on a highway.
Any ideas???? Perhaps when going steeply down, the cameras are only seeing the bottom of the rise before the uphill, there is no horizon. The Outback's cameras are much higher off the ground, over a foot higher, on a windshield that's less raked back....I couldn't get the Ouback's eyesight to fail even once.
Thanks in advance...
