Cold weather made for a labored cranking but no engine start. Did dry gas, drove it when it started in warmer weather, I thought problems were over. Next cold morning - cranking but no start. Replaced 7 year old battery (due anyway). No problem next cold morning @ startup, drove well, then tried to cut back the defroster/heater fan speed. Only functions on HI, nothing at other speeds! Control Switch? Fan motor itself? (already replaced once 2-3 years ago) How do I even get to the fan speed control switch in the dash? Appreciate any help!!!

Try checking the blower motor resistor. If you take the glove box out it should be next to the cabin air filter on the left side. 2 screws to remove.
