2006 impreza 2.5i throwing a P1153 code.

Anyone else have gotten this code? It says manufacturer control im not too sure what that means. What should i do.

What should i do

Engine / network controllers do not "throw codes". Engine / network controllers record fault codes.
Read the manual for that scan tool. The image is poor and have no clue of its abilities.

Find and disconnect the Green D-Check special mode test connectors, 2 cavity green connectors just left of the steering column, near the relay panel. They are normally unplugged. When connected together, it causes the PCM to go into output cycling KOEO and D-Check engine running. Normally, those connector(s) are disconnected.

Inspect the sensor wiring and connection for Bank 1 Sensor 1.
Test the fault or replace the sensor.
Then clear the fault codes and allow road tests.
