Sad that they discontinued manual trannys in 2024

My daughter wants an SUV with a manual transmission and we are really dejected that the new 2024 model does not come with a stick shift. Does anyone know whether Subaru might do what they did last time, skipping manuals for a year then bringing it back? Or is this the end?
