repair manual and sparkplugs

I'm trying to change the sparkplugs on my 2005 Outback XT. Is there a
special tool to get in there? Doesn't seem to be much room. Also there
doesn't seem to be a repair manual for this car, they stop at
1998(Haynes). Anyone know how to get one, or get to the sparkplugs??

Subaru has timed, all you can download documentation, for a very
reasonable fee.

I found it very worthwhile when I owned a Subie, with the money spent a
great value for the PITA factor eliminated.

I have to ask: how much mileage do you have on this car? You only need
to replace plugs every 30 000 miles / 48 000 km.

I wanted to replace them myself on my Impreza and thought better of it
when I saw how cramped it is and how deep the plugs are encased. I let
the dealer do it rather than risk stripping the threads in the cylinder
head. Better them than me...
