I have been told by dealer that I have oil leak(s) in my 2008 Tribeca 150000 miles. Had drops on my driveway but does not show as needing oil on dipstick. I also noticed radiator fluid on drive recently.
Took to new Subaru dealer for paid diagnostic on both. They said $1200 for radiator and about $5 K for oil leaks to be fixed when the engine is removed.
I think they were thorough and gave me photos and video showing me what they found.
A local repair shop looked at it for me before the dealer service did and he suggested 2 valve covers $800 - a whole day job- and to get engine washed and cked for other leaks- he saw rusted oil pan too.
I bought this car new in 2007 and have put money into it the last few years in an effort to keep it longer.
Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.
