My wife purchased/ordered a 2022 Ascent Onyx edition, black paint. I have issues with not being able to even wax or hand buff water spots out of it. Bug guts leave impressions. We paid for the extended warranty, and for the protective coating to be applied to the paint. i have questioned the issue with the dealer and they say it is just black paint, that everything "burns into it." Anyone else have similar issues? I am thinking that we did not get the protective coating that we paid for to have applied.
