I bought this 2015 impreza hatchback 3 years ago. The first year the ac was just ok. Did the job, but I felt it could have been much better.
Ever since then, its been under performing. The compressor had to be changed because of strange noises coming from it. Then the condensor, which was slightly dirty.
Still the ac blew warm when driving at lower speeds or idling. I feel it also doesnt blow as hard as it should.
Next the blower motor was going, so I changed that. Then my mechanic added new refridgerant after I changed the condensor. No change. I checked all fuses and relays associated with the cooling fans as Ai mentioned my fans could be under preforming.
They always spin(the fans), but it feels like theyre under preforming. A buddy even mentioned, that one spins quicker than the other.
Someone told me to change the expansion valve. So apart from that or the fans, which dont seem like a viable option, I dont know eat to do.
