Key Fob for 2025 Forester

I keep my key fob in my back pocket, and I'm always accidentally opening the tailgate or setting off the alarm. Is there anyway to deactivate the these two buttons? Thanks

Try a front pocket.

I put my fob on a carabiner, and hook it to my 3 o'clock belt loop. (It is still possible to sit on it wrong, had a sunroof open in a rainstorm for just that reason...)
But, generally it works without problems...if your pockets are as full as mine, it's a better alternative.
