hub nut question

could some nice guy with his workshop manual handy tell me what the torque
settings are for the front hub nuts on a scooby legacy 1.8 16v 1991 estate I
have been struggling for about an hour trying to persuade one to undo and it
isnt having any at all so before I take it into a workshop with airtools do
I have an earthly chance of moving the b****r

If it's like my 1990 Legacy, it's a staked nut, and you have little chance
of moving it with normal hand tools. The torque is actually kind low, 90
lb-ft or so, but then the nut is "staked" so it doesn't back off on it's
own... Look at the nut, if there's a spot where the edge of the nut in
basically hammered into a recess/slot that's your problem. I couldn't budge
mine with a breaker bar, and a 6 foot pipe, but once I realize the neighbor
had an air compressor, I grabbed my impact and spun it right off.....

Thanks for the info i had unstaked the nut ( I thought so) and cleaned up
the staked side with a grinder obviously not well enough to free it off
