Fog Lights Question

I have a new Subaru Crosstrek 2018 Premium. I turn my fog lights off, but have my headlights on, when I turn my steering wheel to the left, the left fog light will flash on then turn off. Also when I turn my steering wheel to the right, the right fog light turn of then turn off. I was wondering is this normal for my Crosstrek or is this an electrical issue?
