Fixing longer scratches?

I have a 2018 50th anniversary Subaru Impreza in Heritage Blue.
It has some scratches that polish will not take out.
I have touch-up paint from the dealer but with longer scratches (~4 inches) on the hood I wonder how successful I would be..
Any tips on how to fix scratches... maybe an aftermarket polish, etc. to use with my touch-up paint?

Ah car will be back in a week or 2 and i can take photos.
Mostly on the hood.. I think acorns or something fell and scratched. They are very thin and curvey. I have a Meguirs polish that removes most scratches, etc. but not these as they must be too deep.

Is your product the polish/wax (what I have) or an actual polish. Polish comes in a lot of grades/abrasion. Be very careful when you use it. Paint is thin...

Yes it is an older polish that removes swirls, scratches, etc. Works pretty well but thse scratches are deeper and I need to touch them up so curious how folks approach it.
I read about DrColorChip and used a similar item years ago.... you prep the spot, paint, then use some sort of light polish to blend it..
