Hello!
I’m in the process of replacing the clutch kit on my 2.0 2004 Impreza. But as for the clutch cover part number 30210AA600 officially listed by VIN in parts catalogue, there isn’t much anywhere! Instead 30210AA590 there is much more inventory. The question is, even though both clutch covers share the same diameter (225mm), are there many differences between them?

Any Subaru site will tell you the supersessions on their parts listings.

Google can help too.

Subaru part numbers 30210AA600 and 30210AA590 are both OEM clutch pressure plates designed for 2.5L Subaru engines, and they are largely interchangeable, often appearing together in cross-reference lists for clutch kits.

Here is the breakdown based on the provided search results:

Key Similarities
  • Application: Both are used as clutch pressure plates for various 1990s–2010s Subaru models, including the Forester, Legacy, Impreza, and Baja.
  • Interchangeability: Search results from multiple auto parts retailers (e.g., Autodoc, Spareto) list them as comparable or directly interchangeable (OE References).
  • Dimensions: They are commonly found in kits featuring a 225mm–230mm diameter clutch disc.

Thank you bmart for your reply.
I believe it’s safe to use 30210AA590 instead of 30210AA600.

Regards
