Dashcams?

I've been thinking about getting a dashcam (or maybe both front and rear). My 2018 Crosstrek has Eyesight, so I'm not sure if a cam interferes with that.

Does anyone have recommendations on dashcams (brands, types, etc).

If the dashcam is "hardwired" there is no problem except for mounting the camera because of Eyesight, it needs to be attached on the driver side for access with no driver obstructions. Aim it correctly. For the rear, same warning, needs to be hard wired but needs to be "babysat" for access the the memory card. Further advise are simple camera(s) that are "switched" on command when required or turned off. With the one I use, I have access to the camera without removing it for video download. A laptop is connected or remove the SD Card to access video.
