Has anyone added a good aftermarket antenna to their in-glass-antennacized
Subie? What part(s) did you install? Cost?
This started as a thread in regards to tinting windows and the use of
metalicized film. In my thinking, it is also related to this type of antenna's
inability to receive distant and/or weak stations. Is this because of a lower
height, and a low profile from behind or in front of the car?
FWIW, I'd bet the remote locking key-fob would benefit as well, especially
when directly inline with the rear glass.
