'99 Impreza Turbo Workshop Manual

R

Richard \(UK\)

I apologise wholeheartedly to whoever might take exception to me asking what
might be a very commonly asked and answered question. Can anyone advise me
as to where I can find an online workshop manual for my 1999 Impreza 5dr
Turbo? I gather Haynes don't produce one and the factory one costs mega
bucks. What I'm really after is a wiring diagram and information on how to
remove the central console and (oh dear!) how to get at, and what I need in
the way of clips and things to firmly re-attach my front bumper. :-(
Thanks for your patience -

I commiserate with you on the lack of Haynes :-(
They put out some good manuals.

I just bought a Impreza "manual" CD on eBay...it
has yet to arrive, so I have no idea if my twenty
bucks or so was well spent or not. Fingers
crossed!

may not be exactly what you are looking for, but have a look at these
sites:-

http://www.saxonfields.freeserve.co.uk/

http://www.extreme-machines.nl/manual98.htm - dutch site, but manual is in
english

http://www.jimclarkeracing.co.uk/scooby/pre-my97/premy97.html

http://www.ravensblade-impreza.com/ - go to 'technical docs'

http://www.subaruparts.com/ - you can buy a paper manual here, but it costs
a fortune!

http://www.freebmw.net/share/CarsBoatsBikes/Subaru/FSM/ - full manual for
the 'bugeye' (2001)

alan
p.s. I have yet to find an manual for the my99/00 on the net - these links
are the
best currently available.......!!

Steve & Alan - Many thanks for your replies, and the URLs. It's a bit of a
s.d that Haynes haven't bothered to accommodate us! - Again, thanks -
Richard

I bought a copy of a "back-up CD" for my MY03 wrx on eBay, and it is
everything I hoped it would be. Its a collection of linked .pdf files
that appear to be scans of the factory service manual.

Here's a link that searches ebay for impreza service manuals and
attempts to remove 2002-2004 versions from the results:

http://search-desc.ebay.com/search2...0&sp=0&srchdesc=y&BasicSearch=&category0=6000

Here's the same data for use in ebay's search window, in case that URL
got chopped off:

impreza service manual -(2002,2003,2004) -(02,03,04)

Be sure to check the feedback of your seller before you bid. Some
don't look too good.

Cheers,
Steve
