BTW as rule of thumb, engines with timing chains are often what is known as an interference engine, where at different times in the timing cycle different parts occupy the same space but at different times. Timing failure in these engines usually results in catastrophic damage typically destroying the engine or otherwise redering it economicaly unreparable.
Engines that employ timing belts however, are usually non interference engines whereby timing failure results in an inoperable but reparable engine.
