I have a NEW 2019 Legacy that has from the beginning had troubles with the CVT shuttering while accelerating. Took car in as soon as it started. Was told there was no code or problem to be found. I asked about a software reset to possibly help and was told no can do. fast forward and I get an extended warranty notice from Subaru for JUST the CVT. They pushed it out to 10 years or 100,000 miles. I'll hit the 10 years before the 100,000 miles likely. I see there has been a recall for 2019 Outbacks for the CVT for this condition but not for the Legacy. I am convinced the CVT will die just after the warranties extension. the hesitation and high rev's is scary to say the least. car will not accelerate sometimes on the highway when trying to pass a slow car. I always wanted a Subaru and now I have what I feel is the most unsafe car I have ever owned. Subaru clearly knows this is a problem as they would not have extended the warranty on just the cvt and so close to after going in with the issue. Anyone else have this model year Legacy with this issue. Did you find a answer?
