I have a 2014 Forester with approx. 135K on the clock.
When under light acceleration the vehicle will knock up front when turning.
CV joints have no leaks.
I have lubricated any metal to rubber areas and the base of the springs.
It started on just one side and shortly after migrated to the other side.
Am I looking at axle shaft replacement, wheel bearings, or both?
Thanks in advance for your replies.

Check the sway bar end links
Do it at the normal ride height
Use a big prybar to move the sway bar up and down while you watch the link

Not to poke the other thread...but if tires are far off from one another, the drivetrain clicks as it it forced to adjust to tires of different sizes.

Wheel bearings whine. You'll know LONG before they're gone, but they do wear quickly once they start.

Axles/CVJs will click, but honestly, they rarely wear out unless the fluid has come out. 135k...maybe time. Is there free play in the joints?

Steering system okay?
