How to disable garage door opener when car is off

Anyone know how I can disable my outback’s garage door opener when the ignition is off? I park outside and am paranoid about someone breaking into my car and merely pushing the garage door opener to get in my garage. Seems like a security feature that should be easily remedied.

My garage door opener switch, master has a 'vacation' mode. Probably not what you want cause when it is off--it is OFF to all signals, inc the opener on your visor.

Unplug the garage door opener in the garage when you come infor the night. Had to resort to this, after finding garage door up several times when returning home from work. Maybe the dealers service manager knows how to disable it.
