having a recurring issue of Brake light and CEL illuminating at the same time 2014 Outback
 
Had the same thing. Replaced MAF sensor, problem went away for a few months and came back. Now getting P0172 and C0057 codes. P0172 is the MAF sensor C0057 report says VDC interrupted due to Egi reason. 2014 Outback 2.5i Premium 104K mi.
