The AC compressor on 2020 Impreza started to cycle on and off. Still blows cold air but I have not noticed the cycling for 2 years and it seemed to start happening 2 months ago.
I took to the dealership, and the service advisor quickly dismissed the issue stating that it was normal, and as it was blowing cold air there was nothing to check.
I connected a manifold to it and you can notice it cycling on and off to specific pressures. Turns off with 30 psi and then on again around 40psi. To me it is an issue with the refrigerant charge. What do you guys think?
