110v outlet kit for 2022 outback Limited?

Hello,

I've been looking online for a 110v outlet kit for my 2022 outback limited and all I can find are kits for 2019 and earlier. Is there a reasonable kit out there for a 110v outlet for a 2022 outback Limited? Right now I'm using a bulky inverter in the cargo area plugged into the cargo area 12v outlet, and that is pathetic for an "outdoorsy" car built in 2022. Any ideas or places I need to look? Whenever I search for a 110v kit I get lots of links to a couple of kits for 2019 or earlier models but nothing for the current outback model. Either I'm looking in the wrong places or I need to get creative...???

I had the same issue with my 2021 Forester and ended up buying a 400 W inverter and installing it behind a panel in the trunk area. I ran dedicated wiring to it directly from the battery with a relay connected to the accessory power. I used a camper wall tap for the plug. I'd show you photos but my Forester was totaled last month.
 
Household outlets are 120v AC and cars run on 12v. DC So, in order to have a household plug, the power needs to be stepped up and converted to AC, which adds cost to the vehicle.
 
I bought another smallish inverter because my previous one kept shutting off, but the 12v outlet in the outback is at a location guaranteed to get whacked/destroyed by cargo. It's low down on the side by the liftgate and I already almost broke off the new inverter's plug when a suitcase shifted while driving. I don't want to hack into the electrical system with a DIY hookup until my warranty is out, which is a good 6-7 years in the future. So I was hoping there might be a nice kit that has a near-factory professionally installed look that won't immediately void my warranties.

Wifes Mercedes, I used a low po cheap inverter to hang low power LED Christmas lights on it
If you try to power a TV or a toaster, hair drier etc. Us mechanics will be seeing you for an alternator
 
Larger inverters need cooling and when plugged in they all still use power and can contribute to draining the battery in particular if they develop a problem (inexpensive inverter = inexpensive parts that blow or change value).
If you hide it, it needs ventilation and a fan which adds noise.
You can plug into the backside of any 12 Volt outlet but you will need a switch and a pilot light that you can see.
You will also need to know what the 12V outlet is rated for so you don't overload the harness.
A larger 1000W+ inverter like we use on boats needs at least two very large batteries that you can switch between to avoid surprises. It also has to be connected directly to the battery to get power which means you really need a control circuit to shut it off before the car wont start.
So no, a small outdoorsy car should not have a 110V outlet - a properly made one would be an expensive option involving a second battery. To do it right yourself will take $1000 because you only have room for Lithium batteries and you must use a current limiting "trickle" charger unless you install a Huge alternator and run huge wires to where ever you put it. I expect RV stores and WestMarine.com has what you need.
