I had steering U joint off for a subframe replacement. My clock spring Ribbon connection got ripped off, so I am replacing it.
The new part has a safety tab that needs removed. Once removed, is the clock spring in position or is there more to the procedure?

I just replaced my light switch shaft. align the two arrows one on the spring itself the other right below It (beside the electrical connection) on the lower right hand side.
looks like you have it pretty much centered.
