I have a non-Turbo manual transmission 2006 Outback, 2.5.
The rear-differential needs to be replaced. The original differential was a limited-slip differential. (The part number for the limited slip rear differential is 27011AA731.)
My question is whether I can replace the differential with a non-limited slip differential. (Part 27011AA334) I understand the difference between the limited- and non-limited slip and do not mind if I loose the limited-slip. The problem is that I have been unable to find anything that clearly states that the diff-ratio on 27011AA334 is the same as 27011AA731.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
