Remote Starter

My remote starter fob stopped working so I used my husband's until it stopped working as well. I changed the batteries in both fobs, but they're not working. I realize I'm probably going to need to take the car into the dealership to resolve this, but I wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem. When I emailed the dealership, I was told they shouldn't need to be reprogrammed. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
