Sound of gurgling water behind the dash when started…. Starts to heat up after an hour of driving….

There is a leak somewhere in the cooling system. The sound heard is "air" moving through the heater core.
Fix it before the engine is damaged. A decent shop with a cooling system pressure tester will find either externally or hopefully not internally.

Right on the money my man, top radiator hose had a small leak… $150.00 repair and she’s back on the road… Gonna get a real damn temperature gauge installed it. If you have a recommendation for one..

Thank You!!

Jim

Have a conversation with a technician you can trust, that technician will know exactly how to install, mount and wire one correctly.
