1999 Subaru Outback Legacy for sale, pretty decent shape overall for it's age
2.5L 4-cylinder, Automatic trans, 104k on the dash
*CAR HAS NO RUST*
*GARAGE KEPT MOST OF ITS LIFE*
This specific car is the limited version, has the bigger engine and gold accents on the trim.
Selling this car for my girlfriend. She drove it around until it started to act funny and hesitated a lot as if it was starving for fuel. It has been sitting for over a year, but we start it up once in a while to keep the juices flowing. The engine is perfect and idles very well.
Before the car was parked it had a complete tune up and radiator replacement.
Car seems to have a transmission issue, and after much research and contact with some mechanics, we surmised it was the valve body of the transmission that was causing the problem. The battery is also not holding a charge so there may be some type of issue with a bad ground, either though the alternator is fine.
First one with $1600 takes the whole car.
WE WILL NOT PART THE CAR OUT, so please don't ask, we just want the parking spot back in front of our building and need the entire car gone. My lady is not interested in fixing it, and it's becoming more and more rare to come across these older Outbacks with low milage.
Thanks for looking!
