Wix oil filters

Has anyone had problems with Wix filters lately. It seems the quality of Wix oil filters has gone way down. I bought three Wix XP oil filters and all three had incorrect or defective mounting threads. The mounting threads on the filters actually damaged the oil filter mount on my Subaru Outback. So far Wix has done nothing to rectify the situation. After I made a complaint, a sales rep was supposed to call me but of course he or she never did. When I called Wix a second time the company said they could not help me. So not only do they sell defective product they don't warranty it either.

WIX filter are no longer made in USA, they are produced in China.

I use Wix no issues for me yet I order two Subaru black oil filter on amazon that i will use next i must have about 29 of the new filters in my garage for my outback you should use Purolator made in the USA PBL14615 it's for the Subaru outback

I have the same issue with a WixXP unit for my 2018. Threads are cut wrong. I knew better than to try and force it. The only available unit at the parts stores seems to be STP. They do fit but i am not sure of their ability. I kept that unit to test it on maybe my 2005 or maybe the honda
