I have an Impreza (2017 - Sport Hatchback) with 86000 mileage. I have been hearing whistling noise on the left side of the driver seat.... The noise and after checking several times is restricted inside and does not go away with changes in shifting/braking, or revving the engine. It is mainly constant and faint sometimes loud.
Things I have tried:
1. Rev the engine (no change).
2. Park, Neutral, M (no change).
3. Change A/C setting (no change).
4. Sit different places (nothing - only heard on driver side).
5. Braking (normal/aggressive) no change.
6. Turn of radio (no change)
This occurs when the car have warmed up (like after driving for 15 mins or so) ... The only way the noise is if i open the window which is odd and I checked if there is air leak when the door is closed and there is none.
I checked Subaru site (by VIN) and it states all recalls have been completed on the car!!! I am confused and this whistling noise is like my ear is ringing so its really making the drive annoying.
