Hi Everyone,
I"m hearing a.slight whinimg sound from my Impreza 2014 in front underneath. I"m not sue if this is normal or if something might be happening to TR580 transmission or something else. It goes away when car is warmed up and I don't hear at higher speeds like 40+ mph. It has 89,000 miles on it. I did change the transmission fluid with Subaru CVTF Ii fluid and followed indtructions from AllDAtaDIY and Identifix and have scan tool with transmission tempersture to ensure done correctly. I put in 5 1/2 quarts of CVTFII Subaru fluid.. It was making the sligjt gesr whining sound before fluid change. The fluid was changed at 87,000 miles. Does this slight gear whining sound mean TR580 is going to fail or is starting to go bad.
