Where are our hydrogen-powered cars?

Nah, I've talked to hydrogen workers. The hydrogen car is
a reeeeal tough problem, and no one seriously expected them
to be made for a very long time.

Watch the movie "who killed the electric car" to see some
more opinions.

Hydrogen based fuel was set up to fail from the first place. Mr."Oil Man"
Bush picked the strategy most likely to prolong the raping of the public
with high oil prices and gasoline price-speculating in order to line the
pockets of the folks that will be paying him under the table for the rest of
his life.

The huge problem with hydrogen cars is the lack of "free hydrogen" to be
collected and stored.

There are several ways to make hydrogen - one common way is to split the
water molecule into its 2 oxygen atoms
and 1 hydrogen atom via a process called.... electrolysis - other means are
available but all are expensive or difficult. Hydrogen is the atom that
most easily bonds with other atoms to form compounds. So while it burns
very cleanly, it is not cheap to provide - trade offs everywhere. IMO it is
much more efficient to burn hydrocarbons while they are still available.

Others insist that ethenol is the way to go - not so fast. Putting food
into the fuel process can be expensive. As an example a conservative
trade-off of producing corn for ethenol is: Over 100 gallons of water
needed to produce the corn that makes 1 gallon of ethenol.

My personal opinion is that the US is purposfully letting the Saudies rid
themselves of their oil and then we will drill for ours.

Call me kooky? Ha ha!

I've seen that, but one of Obama's people did put an end to hydrogen
development because the government is allocating no more money to it.

God, they're STILL blaming Bush!
