Had the third occasion where my wheel studs were damaged by Discount Tire during rotation. Discount Tire blames the problem on SUBARU stud materials, not by Discount Tire personnel. Any comments similar experiences.

Unfortunately I have the same issue only with a Subaru, someone is using a pneumatic gun to put lug nuts on and way over tighten. Also agree with discount Tire, the lugs suck. Good news is can replace rather easily.

In general, tire places, in the interest of speed instead of correctness, use torque limiting sockets instead of a calibrated torque wrench. Much of the help seems to get metric vs. non-metric torque specs wrong...so they may not even know they're doing it wrong.

Probably worth contacting corporate. I have before with decent results.
