What to replace for 100 000 Service ??? AUSTRALIA

AUSTRALIA:

I've read various posts in here over time regarding recommended "extra"
servicing items to be performed at the major 100 000 km service.

Can somebody please recap for me what should be done while the timing
cover is off & belt/tensioner is being replaced?

I seem to recall camshaft oil seals, oil pump seals, water pump, etc. If
anyone can give a definitive list of all possible items that COULD fail,
which can only be accessed while the timing cover is off, then I will
get the lot replaced when my car reaches 100000. The car doesn't use,
or leak, a single drop of oil and is immaculate underneath the bonnet &
under the car. Should I also get the crank oil seals done too, or is
this opening up a pandora's box, if it's not already leaking??? It is
currently at 85000, so I have about 4 months left to save up the extra
money. I'd rather spend a couple of hundred dollars extra getting it
ALL done, than have an oil seal let go a few months later and have to
pull the timing cover off again.

Here in Brisbane, Queensland... I have been quoted about $950-1000 for
the standard 100k service from the dealer I bought the car from. As it
is under their internal warranty (3 years) I must have ALL mechanical
work performed by themselves - so I'm not really in a position to shop
around for a cheaper deal. Anyone else from Oz care to comment on this
pricing???

My 91 Liberty wagon got traded at 332K for a 99 Outback Limited. 100K was
routine. 200K needed a bearing and idler pulley replaced. 300K was
routine. Have heard advice to replace water pump every 200K. Not a bad
precaution but should be ok at 100K. 100K on the Outback was routine as
well. Price seems spot on. Just paid about the same 2 months back. Ask
they advise you before doing any additional work but most will anyway.
Suby workshops usually seem pretty good in Oz! Regards

I'm in Adelaide. Recently had the 200,000 km service on my '99 Outback.
Pricing was about what you quoted. Only additional work recommended by
Eblen Subaru but not strictly on the 100,000 km service interval
schedule was replacement of oil pump seals. There was a slight leak from
the thermostat housing; they replaced the o-ring and housing gaskets.

Can't really advise you any further as beyond changing oil and coolant
on my better half's Pintara I'm a bit mechanically challenged
