I have a 2018 Outback Limited. Twice now I've had a build up of water in my drivers side floor board....read that it might be a clogged vent or something...anyone else had this problem?

1st place to check is the drain tubes for the sunroof. It matters not if it is open or not. Good can collect in there. Water can get in. If the tubes are clogged, and they often are, you must clear them to get the water to flow again.

Not sure about your specific car, but nearly all of them have four drains, one in each corner that exit the car in the front wheel wells and somewhere in or in front of the rear wheel wells. A quick search on the googles can probably show you exactly where.

I use a compressor with low pressure and a rubber tipped tool to make the seal on the upper portion and let 'er rip.

Quick swag

thanks....I think the drain on the outside of the car was clogged....stupid design...lol thanks for your input

I have a 2010 E-350 Mercedes. Same problem. The design on the Merc. was a cross-shaped opening on the end of the rubber drain line that terminated above the left front wheel. YouTube solution was to pull the nozzle end off the drain and trim about 1/8" off the nozzle. This exposed more open area for drainage. Haven't had any problems with water in the cabin since. On the Merc. it was a bear to get my hand up to reach the drain line. Small access hole with unfriendly edges. Scrapes and a few small cuts. I had tried the air compressor with no joy. Check YouTube to see if Subby has the same type of nozzle. Ironic that the design was intended to keep spiders out of the drain line. Never found any drowned spiders but found 2" of water in the floor pan.

Any chance you had the windshield replaced lately?
