1st place to check is the drain tubes for the sunroof. It matters not if it is open or not. Good can collect in there. Water can get in. If the tubes are clogged, and they often are, you must clear them to get the water to flow again.
Not sure about your specific car, but nearly all of them have four drains, one in each corner that exit the car in the front wheel wells and somewhere in or in front of the rear wheel wells. A quick search on the googles can probably show you exactly where.
I use a compressor with low pressure and a rubber tipped tool to make the seal on the upper portion and let 'er rip.
Quick swag
Any chance you had the windshield replaced lately?I have a 2018 Outback Limited. Twice now I've had a build up of water in my drivers side floor board....read that it might be a clogged vent or something...anyone else had this problem?
