Recently replaced the manual transaxle 2003 Legacy outback, after a very short road test the transmission began to shake really bad. After determining the rear differential is 3.90 and the transaxle is 4.11 I replaced the rear with a 4.11 now I have a different vibration after a longer road test. Question, could the viscous coupler in the transmission been damaged on the first road test? Anyone else had this issue? Any info on this would be appreciated.
Thanks
