Use my 2020 Forester 18" snow tires in place of the 2024 17" Crosstrek Tires

I have a 2024 Crosstrek (Premium) on order and it will come with 17" wheels. Would it be ok to switch to the 18" winter snow wheels/tires that were on my 2020 Forester (Touring) during the winter? I see that the high end Crosstrek models come with 18" wheels.
