If you had problems with a recently purchased new Legacy/Outback assembled

You need to be a little more specific.
Exactly what year span? Problems or problem?
Does the crank seal oil leak count if you
fixed it at the timing belt change interval?

I don't think the data you collect could have
any statistical value, given that usenet posters
are not typical users.

As I said. This is a seat of pants meter.
are not typical users.

You also need to know who has NOT had problems. Me: 04 OBW H6 8000 miles no
problems except that birds seem to like red better than other colors.

04 OBW H6 no problems, 4k. Excellent car. 00 OBW no problems, 30k.
Excellent car, not the power of my 04.
What are you fishing for?

Opinions, before I take a big breath and plunge for a second Sub.
I don't want to make a second expensive mistake and would really like to
