Trouble accelerating in first gear between 2000 and 3000 rpm

I have a 2013 impreza sport and about a month ago my battery died and after I started it up and drove it the car was hard shifting and struggling to accelerate in first gear between 2000 and 3000 rpm

The hard shifting stopped on its own and now the struggling acceleration happens intermediately.

We checked the battery and it is putting out enough power and I took my car into my local shop and they test drove it, said it only happened once to them over the two weeks they had it and they do not know what is wrong and now I have had it about a week and it has happened once since I got the car back.

Any suggestions on what the problem could be? I have included a link to the video posted on reddit that shows the acceleration stall out.

Following, My guess is a bad solenoid on the Transmission module.

WHY are you operating in that GEAR/RPM RANGE ?????
Are you trying to BLOW YOUR ENGINE .... ?????
