My daughter has a 2019 Outback 2.5. She wants to tow a drift boat that weighs (with trailer) around 1500 lbs. The boat trailer does not have brakes. Looks like the tow capacity is only 1000 lbs. Does that seem correct?
From what I see online HERE from a dealership in Maine, the 2019 subaru outback 2.5 towing capacity is 2,700lbs. Just allow for much more braking distance.
Where did you see the towing capacity you are referencing?
