There are two options through Subaru :
- 7 years or 100,000 mi (including current time & miles) for $2,000
- 8 years or 120,000 mi (including current time & miles) for $2,600
All depends on if you plan to keep the car long term. Subaru added security is a good benefit for unexpected repairs. Really now-a-days the big ticket items are electronics on cars. The are not built to be repaired, they are built to be replaced. The good thing is that if something changes and you decide to sell the car prior to the warranty end, you can get a prorated refund for the reminder not used.
Is the extended transferable to he next owner should you have to sell for some reason?? At those prices I would hope so. If you should have to sell it would be a good item for he new owner, if transferable.
