Temp Control Knob in 2016 Legacy Malfunction

Hello All - I have a 2016 Legacy Limited, 108k miles, and I am having a weird issue and I was wondering if anyone had the same one, and if they were able to find a solution. The left and right temperature control knobs are both stuck at 61°. When I turn the knob to try and turn the temperature up (or down) it will go 61 then 62 then back to 61,62, etc. it just toggles between those two temperatures. It’s not quite an issue now because it’s late summer and I need air conditioning anyways, but as I move into fall and winter with cold temperatures, I’m not quite sure what I’m going to do. Has anyone had this issue and if so, were they able to fix it?

Sounds dirty or worn out. Probably worth checking connectors for corrosion also.
